WHAT IS jQuery?

jQuery is a fast and concise JavaScript Library that simplifies HTML document traversing, event handling, animating, and Ajax interactions for rapid web development. jQuery is designed to change the way that you write JavaScript.

Jadi apa sih sebenernya jQuery itu?
jQuery adalah salah satu library javascript bisa dibilang kumpulan kode/fungsi javascript siap pakai. Sesuai dengan slogannya write less, do more dengan jQuery kita hanya memanggil fungsi-fungsi yang ada dalam library javascript yang tersedia. Jadi kita tidak perlu menuliskan coding panjang lebar untuk membuat aplikasi yang kita buat menjadi lebih menarik dan interaktif.

Sekarang banyak developer web yang menggunakan jQuery, karena lebih menghemat dalam menuliskan coding dan dapat membuat web lebih interaktif. So, jangan ngaku-ngaku sebagai seorang developer web kalo kalian belum kenalan ama jQuery :D.

Trus kenapa kita memilih jQuery?

1. jQuery telah banyak digunakan oleh website-website terkemuka di dunia, cth:Facebook, Google dll aja pake jQuery.
